THE BREIF

Mevo is New Zealand's first electric car share, launching in Wellington in Spring 2016. Mevo aims to bring on-demand mobility to urban New Zealanders and providing a carbon-negative alternative to car ownership in the city. My involvement with Mevo is to craft the visual identity of the Mevo brand.

THE IDEA

There are three core ideas that are being visually represented through Mevo’s identity which is a quality, modern and fresh.    Mevo is a premium service that uses premium vehicles.  This is reflected through the royal blue and grey colours as well as sophisticated typography which I custom designed.  Bold contrasting oranges and quirky patterns are used to invoke fun and modern.
